Jean Carlson has a long, successful career in the real estate. She has a Broker’s license and holds the designations of Graduate of the Realtor’s Institute (GRI) and Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB)--one of the oldest and most prestigious designations in the real estate business.
For over 25 years, Jean and her husband Richard, owned and operated Carlson Real Estate, one of New England’s premier real estate companies. During her career, she managed both the Marblehead and Swampscott Offices. She was also the Director of the Distinctive Properties Division. Jean offers knowledge, experience and service to all price points.
Jean is the Marketing Manager of the CARLSON GROUP and utilizes Sotheby’s extensive promotional tools to market the entire North Shore. She works with her son—Sean Gildea, his wife--Jodi Gildea, her daughter--Traci Howe and her grandson--Wells Howe. Their motto is “Let our family help your family with your real estate needs!”
Jean has many interests and is a member of The Mayflower Society, National Society of Colonial Dames of America, Daughters of the American Revolution, Corinthian Yacht Club, Tedesco Country Club, Marblehead Museum, The Winter Garden Club, Summer Book Club and The Beach Club of Palm Beach. She always enjoys a game of duplicate bridge with friends.
